Our Story

Going Strong Since 2002

Welcome to Rally Pointe: The Heart of Volleyball in Canada

Our Journey

In 1999, a passionate group of Calgary volleyball enthusiasts dreamt of a place where the love for volleyball could thrive—a dedicated space, unlike any other in Canada, built from the ground up for the sport we live and breathe. Rally Pointe was born from that dream, a first-class facility designed by volleyball players, for volleyball players, and those who are just beginning their journey into this incredible sport.

A Legacy of Excellence

Since opening our doors in January 2002, Rally Pointe has grown into a vibrant hub for the volleyball community, offering eight pristine hard courts and six outdoor beach courts. With each spike, serve, and dive, we celebrate the sport’s spirit and the community that fuels it.

Guided by the Canada West Volleyball Club (CWVC) and the leadership of Bruce Edwards, Brad Wey, and Ian McIntyre, we’ve created more than just a place to play—we’ve built a legacy. In 2004, Calgary entrepreneur and volleyball advocate W. Brett Wilson joined our mission, bringing his vision and commitment to elevate the facility further.

Where Volleyball Lives

Today, Rally Pointe is more than just a facility—it’s the ultimate volleyball destination in Canada. With tournaments filling over 18 weekends each year, more than 250 teams in our adult and youth leagues and with seven weeks of summer camps, our courts are always alive with energy. Our Pro Shop is a treasure trove for players and coaches, meeting every need to keep you at the top of your game. In February 2022, 20 years in, we welcomed our 1,500,000th visitor—a milestone that speaks volumes about the community we’ve built.

Get to the Pointe

Volleyball isn’t just a game—it’s a way of life. At Rally Pointe, we’re dedicated to fostering that passion and helping it grow. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting, there’s a place for you on our courts.
